Alice G. Aranda
Alice G. Aranda, 80, of Avondale died Dec. 4, 2015.
Ms. Aranda was born July 27, 1935, in Phoenix to Marcelino and Lupe.
She worked as a bookbinder and a waitress at American Legion Post No. 41 in Phoenix.
She was a member of the Legionnaires Auxiliary Post No. 41.
She is survived by one son, Gabriel Espinoza; one sister, Rachel Mata; one brother, Manuel Aranda; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 14, with a rosary recital at 10:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd., Goodyear. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix.

Antonio ‘Tito’ Cabrales
Antonio “Tito” Cabrales, 88, of Tolleson died Dec. 6, 2015.
Mr. Cabrales was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona; and one daughter, Monica.
He is survived by five sons, Ignacio, Terrell, Richard, David and Tony; three daughters, Connie, Veronica and Gloria; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation and a rosary recital will be from 9 to 11 a.m. today, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave., Tolleson. Interment will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road, Avondale.
Clarence ‘Clancy’ Pendergast Jr.
Clarence “Clancy” Pendergast Jr., 87, of Litchfield Park died Dec. 4, 2015.
Mr. Pendergast was born Aug. 17, 1928, in Arizona to Clarence C. and Lucia Pendergast.
He attended Pendergast Elementary School, which was named for his grandfather, Charles Pendergast.
He graduated in 1946 from Glendale High School, where he was voted class president for three years and “Cardinal King” by his classmates. He played on the high school football team and was involved with the Future Farmers of America and the National Honor Society.
He graduated in 1952 with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Arizona, where he made the Dean’s List, belonged to the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, was active on the livestock judging team and was a roper for the Rodeo Team.
He was also a member of the college’s Air Force ROTC and was selected for the Scabbard and Blade Honorary Military Fraternity and also named ROTC cadet colonel.
He married Alice Roselyn Land on July 25, 1952, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Phoenix.
In 1955, he was called to active duty in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Novato, Calif., and Omaha, Neb., where he served as first lieutenant at the Strategic Air Command Headquarters at Offutt Air Force Base.
He returned to Glendale in 1957 to manage C.C. Pendergast & Sons farming operations.
He operated the dairy farm and expanded into cattle feeding. He grew alfalfa, corn, maize and cotton.
He belonged to Glendale’s Rotary Club, where he had 39 years of perfect attendance and was a recipient of the Paul Harris Award. He was involved in Glendale Masonic Lodge No. 23, Scottish Rite and the El Zaribah Shrine.
He was president of the American Dairy Association’s Arizona chapter in 1960 and served in the American Farm Bureau, Arizona Livestock Show, United Dairymen, Arizona Cattlemen’s Association, Arizona Cattle Feeders Association and Arizona Cotton Growers.
He was on Salt River Project’s board of directors and board of governors from 1985 to 2006 and the SRP Council from 1968 to 1985.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice Roselyn Pendergast; three daughters, Colleen McPherson of Kansas City, Mo., Bonnie Pendergast of Goodyear and Carolyn Pendergast of Phoenix; one son, Clancy Pendergast III of San Jose, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Graveside memorial services will be private.

Greg Rohlinger
Greg Rohlinger, 45, of Buckeye died Dec. 6, 2015.
The Rev. Rohlinger was born Dec. 11, 1969, in California.
He attended Southwestern Bible College in Phoenix, where he met his wife, Lori.
The couple started Palm Valley Church in Goodyear in 2000. Under his leadership, the church grew to more than 4,500 people each weekend.
He is survived by his wife, Lori; three sons, Jacob, Zachary and Joshua; one daughter, Brooke; his father, Bob; and two sisters, Michelle and Beth.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 15 at Christ Church of the Valley, 7007 W. Happy Valley Road, Peoria.

Isidro Arturo Villalobos, 43, of Avondale died Nov. 28, 2015, in Goodyear.
Mr. Villalobos was born April 12, 1972, in Phoenix to Isidro and Juanita Villalobos.
He is survived by three daughters, Juana, Esperanza and Angelica; two sons, Joseph and Isidro; his mother, Juanita Villalobos; one sister, Lisa Soria; one brother, Joe Villalobos; and six grandchildren.

Doreather Washington
Doreather Washington, 92, of Avondale died Dec. 1, 2015, in Goodyear.
Ms. Washington was born Jan. 31, 1923, in Crockett, Texas.
She lived in Arizona for 63 years.
She is survived by eight sons, Euit Washington, Emmett Washington, Nathan Washington, Les Washington, Melvin Washington, Alton Washington, Delmer Washington and Isaiah Washington; and two daughters, Lois Washington and Luese Washington.
A viewing will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at Preston Funeral Home, 3800 S. Central Ave., Phoenix. A viewing at 10 a.m. Saturday will be followed by services at 11 a.m. at First Institutional Baptist Church, 1141 E. Jefferson St., Phoenix.

Raymond J. Darr
Raymond J. Darr, 63, of Avondale died Nov. 24, 2015, in Phoenix from colorectal cancer.
Mr. Darr was born July 18, 1952, in Pittsburgh.
He moved to Arizona in 1979.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
He worked as a courier for XPS Express Parcel Service.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Lynn Darr; three daughters, Brenda Darr of Avondale, Bethany Darr of Glendale and Brittany Leon of Glendale; two sons, Brandon Lucciarini of Youngtown and Steven Darr of Glendale; four sisters, Debbie Bogacz of Pittsburgh, Pauline Cumer of Pittsburgh, Beverly McDonugh of Pittsburgh and Mary Darr Lash of Pittsburgh; one brother, Michael Darr of Philadelphia; and one grandchild.
A celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 15, 2016, at South Peoria Baptist Church, 9000 W. Olive Ave. in Peoria.
The Rev. James Hayes will officiate.
